So we came across this sticker in our cab to the airport in Bangkok…. and the kids were taking some very wild guesses on what they mean 😂😂😂
Luckily the first one caused enough hilarity that I didn’t have to explain that the final one meant no-pretending-to-be-a-horse 😝
Seriously: What the? Any ideas? No trumping, no whipping, no boob hootering?? 😂😆 and so on…
So we made it through the trauma of Australian visas. We made it through the overnight flight to Sydney. Funny thing was that everyone around us was asleep… just not us. Our bloody kids were way too excited to sleep. 3 of them finally crumbled at 4am and passed out, but it was game over at 6am as the coffee and muffins came round for breakfast on the flight.
You can only imagine the joy that 4 grumbly sleep-deprived kids brought to 2 zombie parents as we ushered them on to the connecting flight to Brisbane at midday.
Fred didn’t sleep at all (damn me for losing his melatonin tablets!!) So when we got in our rental van and drove an hour and a half to the Sunshine Coast, Fred pretty much passed out on arrival. 4pm and he was out for the count after 29 hours without sleep.
But look 😍
I think I’ve found heaven. What a gorgeous place! All the water sports are included: mini catamaran sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming pools, and trampolines on the lakeside.. there’s also surfing and body boarding on the beach… I’m so glad we have a few days here to explore and get over our jetlag 😊
The downside to Fred falling asleep at 4pm is that he got up at 11pm for the duration 🙈
I was a close second passing out at 6pm and waking randomly with Fred throughout the night. Jetlag sucks 😪
But today has been great. A lazy pool day, eating whatever and whenever. This is what holidays are all about 💙💚❤
Sunshine Coast we love you ❤
